Amazing! Way to go Iowa ♡
Played the course on Monday, October 2nd. For all the accolades, I wasn't impressed at all. This is without question one of the worst courses I've ever played on. There was so much damage on the fairways it looked like a bulldozer had come through and just pushed up sections of turf and left it there. There is/was a note on the GPS screen in the golf carts that seemed to imply most or part of this damage was done by raccoons. The damage did clear up on the back 9. The sand traps were hard and muddy - looked like they hadn't been touched in weeks. Without all the damage, I get it, it's a great looking course and would be fun to play. But, the damage was just so extensive I couldn't enjoy it. I hope they can turn this around.
